HoneyBee Cards is the creative endeavor of Mellisa Heather Cain, a Burlington, Vermont-based artist, facilitator, and non-formal educator. With a professional background in international education, conflict transformation, and the arts, Mellisa has dedicated her career to helping people connect, communicate, and grow through experiential learning.

As the founder of Iceberg Consulting, LLC, she facilitates workshops focused on group development, communication, and authentic engagement. But her passion for art and playful curiosity led her to create HoneyBee Cards—a beautifully illustrated tool designed to spark imagination, foster reflection, and bring people closer together.

Blending years of facilitation experience with her love of vibrant colors and whimsical creatures, Mellisa created a deck that is both inclusive and inspiring—perfect for classrooms, retreats, therapy sessions, and around the kitchen table.

When she’s not sketching new designs, Mellisa enjoys exploring the Vermont outdoors with her trusty sidekick, Baby Yoda (the dog, not the Jedi), always ready for a belly rub and a spark of creative inspiration.
